Small Peculiar

This is about as dynamic and limber as a stix gets. Over the weekend I saw the World of Tomorrow series by Don Hertzfeldt, who is very obviously the primary inspiration for my own drawings, and it’s possible this inspired me to attempt a new pose.

My work is so clearly inspired by Hertzfeldt’s, incidentally, that back in the LiveJournal days people used to pop in just to accuse me of plagiarism, as if he had a patent on stick figures with large, crazed eyes. Maybe I should change the motto up there from “It’s comedy yttrium!” to “Like Hertzfeldt with less talent!”
