I haven’t been watching the new cartoon, actually, but it turns out that Lauren Faust’s My Little Ponys are heck of fun to draw. I said “heck of” in honor of my sister, because it is her birthday.

The European starling (Sturnus vulgaris) is, as its name suggests, an invader species in the United States, but I like it anyway. Its shape and the glossiness of its plumage are beautiful.
